Description

The relative share of materials retained and reused on demonstration sites, measured for selected/key on-site waste material fractions and the total mass of waste materials.

Rationale

As we have ambitions to reduce waste generation in the construction project in the demonstration site, we're aiming to retain as many structures and reuse as many resources as possible on site. In order to measure the effect of these ambitions, we will assess the degree of materials are retained and/or reused.

Amount of resources on demonstration site before initiation of demolition, compared to the amount of retained/reused resources after CityLoops demonstration phase

Data sources / relevant databases

Databank/marketplace with information about indentified structures, components, masses on demonstration site. The databank will contain information about how the resources are treated. Measure how much of this is retained and/or reused.

Overall accuracy

As some presumptions and modelling with regards to volume has to be done, accuracy might be comprimised
