Methodology

The indicator is expressed in % and is defined as:

1-(net) Import reliance.

Import Reliance (IR) is defined in the EU Critical Raw Materials methodology as IR = Net import / Apparent consumption = (Import - Export) / (Domestic production + Import - Export)
