Course 2: Data processing and analysis for Sector-wide Circularity Assessment (WP2+3)
Welcome to the CityLoops' "Data Processing and Analysis for Sector-wide Circularity Assessment (WP2+3)" course! In this course we take documents in different formats like excel, PDF, Shapefiles and CSV among others, the ones collected in Course 1A+1B and learn how to convert them into a standardised format. This will allow us to input all the data into our centralised and accessible CityLoops Data Hub. Through this process you will learn how to create interactive maps and graphs that will help visualise your data in any way you choose.
Metabolism of Cities runs this moderated version of this course for the CityLoops cities, in which there is live support and online class sessions with a group of participants. The course will run for 10 weeks from April-June 2021. The weekly meeting dates, where we meet at 12 pm CEST are as follows:
- April 19 (M1)
- April 26 (M2)
- May 3 (M2)
- May 10 (M3)
- May 17 (M4)
- (May 24 - no meeting on this holiday day) but the week can be used to work on M4
- May 31 (M5)
- June 7 (M6)
- June 14 (M7)
- June 21 (M8)
NOTE: This course has been designed for the cities of the H2020 CityLoops project. At the moment, the course can only be taken by them and not yet by others. However, there is a replicator programme for cities, to open up the course for them, as well as other interested parties, too. We will inform you when this is possible here. There are other courses that you could take instead.
